Mission

The Climate Future Project (CFP) is a research and risk analysis group dedicated to forecasting the implications of climate change for agriculture, infrastructure, trade, and international security. While there is mounting public awareness of the gravity of the climate crisis and its individual consequences, there is less understanding of how these would play across human systems. Our published work aims to address this gap, showing the political and structural consequences of ecological strain in ways that connect environmental fallout with its impact on civilization as a whole. CFP's ultimate goal in outlining these implications is to encourage proactive adaptations that avert the costly and destructive consequences of inaction, building a sustainable future in the process.
